‘O’ is the beginning of my artistic journey, and its significance as a symbol is central to my practice. It represents both emptying and fulfilling—an opening and a whole. Depending on the perspective, it can appear as a dot, a circle, a disk, or a sphere. For me, the symbolism of ‘O’ evokes creative meditation: through the process of reflection and making, the work manifests and brings together the possibilities of materials, disciplines, and the environment. I seek to understand the relationship between tension, energy, and the moment—and how this relationship connects to our bodies when we produce or are confronted by an artwork.
