Hyde and Taverners Writers collaboration present CHALK LEGENDS as part of the 10days 2015 ‘CHALK’ Sharing Heritage Project. SCENE is a temporary installation created from chalk fragments collected outside The Yard Artist Studios. The work is installed against the back of the museum cabinet’s opaque glass. The ephemeral quality of the material refers to the fragments of glass and ceramic artefacts from the City Museum’s collection. Inviting local poet Richard Stillman to respond to the museum installation. Combining the role of art and the perspective of history in the context of the museum environment.
