Sculpture made during the lockdown whilst I was living in London, UK. I was overwhelmed about the situation, and mortified with the amount of (PPE) personal protection equipment that were used and discarded , especially latex gloves . I used a whole box of latex gloves to create a detached blue hand , resembling the weight and scale of a hand. By placing a glove within a glove, I wanted to create something that was uncanny to the human anatomy , to replace the physical contact caused by the impose social distancing.
